Waterbury, CT – Albert Bros., Inc. was among the finalists in 2002 Connecticut Family Business of the Year Awards. They were in the medium-sized business category, with 41 to 74 employees. “Recognizing family firms and celebrating their successes, especially in the year following Sept. 11th, strengthens our resolve to honor what makes this country so industrious,” said Priscilla Cale, program manager of the Family Business Program. 
Albert Bros., Inc. was also honored with the 2002 Ulizio Business Achievement Award, presented by Peoples Bank. The award is given to a family firm that has made significant contributions and advancements within the industry.
